I’m New

If you have never been to church before, or not for a long time, you are very welcome.  When you arrive at either St Mary’s or All Saints’ there will be someone on the door to welcome you and show you where to sit.

At St Mary’s on the first and third Sundays of the month, the words for the service, including the hymns, are projected on a screen at the front of the church, so you don’t need any books.  This makes it very easy for you, as you don’t have to search through several books to find out where you are.  Just follow the words on the screen.  All Saints’ have a hymn book and a small booklet with the words of the service which you will be given when you arrive.

The times of the services can be found on this website.  Generally, at St Mary’s there is a Communion Service at 11.00 am every Sunday and the same Communion service at All Saints’ at 9.30 am.

On the first Sunday of the month at St Mary’s there is a said Communion service from the Book of Common Prayer at 8.00 am and a Worship for All service at 11.00 am.  This is a service for everyone including families, but you don’t need children to come to this service, it is an excellent one if you are new, as there is no Communion.

All Saints’ has a Family service on the third Sunday of the month from March to October.   This is also a non Communion service.

Check the website for other occasional services.
